Questions we get

Straight answers before you call

Anything not covered here, ask us on the phone. We would rather explain the job than surprise you with it.

Can you rekey our office after an employee leaves?
Yes. Rekeying changes the pins inside your existing cylinders so the old keys no longer turn, and you keep the hardware you already own. We cut a fresh set of keys for the people who still need access, and can keep a record so future copies match.
Do you set up master key systems for a whole building?
We do. Tell us which doors exist and who should open which ones, and we plan the system: individual keys per suite or unit, a master for management, and sub-masters for a floor or department if you need that layer.
Do you open roll-down gates?
Yes. Storefront roll-down gates, padlocks and slide bolts are regular work for us along 2nd and 3rd Avenue. If a gate lock is seized or the key snapped off, call and describe it so we arrive with the right replacement hardware.
Can you cut keys for office furniture and file cabinets?
Bring the drawer key or the lock code stamped on the cabinet and we will cut a copy at the counter. If nothing is left to copy, we can often replace the cam lock with a new one and key it to match your other cabinets.
How fast can you get to a lockout in Midtown?
The shop sits in the neighborhood, so Midtown East calls are close by. Traffic and time of day decide the rest. Our line is answered 24/7 for emergency inquiries, and we give you a realistic arrival time when you call rather than a guess.
